Cheryl - I love your philosophy on photography! I used to shoot only digital and spent hours on the computer afterwards processing and fiddling and trying to be 'arty'. What I have realised is that taking the photo is art in itself and so many photographers are now manipulating images to produce unreal situations. Who's going to know what is real in 50 years to come, but that is another subject.
My decision to return to film has freed my precious time up immensely and I love 'raw art'. Just a personal preferance.
I'm now sorry I mentioned that tap in the first place - still getting out of digital mode here... . I'll go along with Ian's comment!
Nicole, no need to be sorry! It's definitely important to pay attention to those details. Sometimes the details make the image; sometimes they break it. Still other times, the small niggles are inconsequential in the larger scheme of the image. I would definitely have preferred to have avoided the faucet here, but I've forgiven myself.
