I only have access to this site once per month. I had been there about 3 years ago and couldn't remember the quality/quantity of light inside. It's also "public," in that there are tours with other people not necessarily photographing running around.
I'm dealing with a fairly old (when talking about electronics) scanner. Zero digital post-processing has been done. I question my film flatness in the scanner a bit. Aside from the central area of shadow under the walkway having no detail, what are people's other thoughts?
Thank you, Martin. I spent a decent amount of time in college doing zone system work and film testing and all of that "stuff." I tend to view the above image as a slight miss in exposure and development due to my past experiences. That being said, having a few small areas of solid black as a counterpoint to the large area of that duct does give the image a bit of sturm and drang.
