Two of my favorite subjects, while standing in a coop full of turkeys and quail. (Translate: standing in bird sh*t.) Sarah, the girl in front, was terrified of the turkeys.

She doesn't look terrified at all to me. On the contrary, as a father of a somewhat younger but quite dynamic lady, I'm the one who is terrified, especially after reading your last phrase . Very well done portrait. I like the expression of the subject in the background, it adds a lot to the photo.
Not only is the location of great interest, "literally" - but the horizontal slats, the chicken wire, the smell inspired instinctively, and the look on the faces of the two girls is an amazing contrast of differences, and you also notice it in their clothing.
