wow - it's so crisp and sharp you could cut your fingers on it. very nice, and the abstract long-ship shape is perfect. well done indeed.

Hi,
thanks all for your kind comments. Iceland is definitly a unique location for landscapephotographers, in my opinion right after US southwest. For black and white shots maybe the best choice in the northern hemisphere.

If this is a "second quality" image... I can't imagine what your "first quality" box contains !!!

I wonder what the whole negative looks like. I don't mean to be a party pooper, but the off-centered iceberg really doesn't do it for me.

That doesn't detract from the beauty of the tones, which are fabulous, or the beauty of the place (I was there in 2004). You were correct, however, to label it as "second quality" when considering the picture as a whole.
