De Vleeshal. This 17th century renaissance building used to house the meat market / butchers hall. Probably a trading place for small life stock as well.

Yes, the starlight surrounding the lamp was in the negative... no image manipulation here.

Really amazing print, Marco! Wonderful light and clarity, and the composition is just stellar.

placing a secondary light source behind the corner allows it to breath and yet controlling a contrast in the light and the building would indicate that there were other light sources behind the camera...

How long of an exposure was this? and how far were you stopped down?
