Gladstone Park

Gladstone Park

I felt this was a decent image, until it was blown out of the water on another site. So I need your opinions on this one. Does this work? Am I totally out of my mind?

Thank you Svend, Vic and Deckled. Deckled I do see your point, and I hadn't considered this. Excellent points. Thank you. - Sean

Technically I think this is a perfect shot. Might be my eyes but I recall seeing a star like aura around lights like this especially if it is gently snowing and the flakes are on my eyelashes. I also recall weather like this and parks, virtually deserted as night fell

We haven't had snow like this since I pushed my son around the local park in his pram while the wife went shopping. He's 28 now!

So you will have gathered this shot rings all the right bells and memories for me. It didn't with the other site's members. Maybe there were all from Florida!

Are you out of your mind? Well not yet but believe that a small group of others have a monopoly on taste, technique etc and you soon will be!

Maybe you believe that most people who "critique" hold balanced, constructive, give and take views. I suspect not. APUG seems to be the exception which is why I am still here. Is there a cure for this belief in all groups having general reasonableness? Yes. Just listen to any of the radio "phone-ins".

Keep it going here and write the other site down to experience
