One more from behind our house. I'll probably keep doing this forever....I love the infinite variety of light and detail.
This is was taken on Monday, December 10th. The fog was freezing on the branches and twigs. I've cropped it from a 4x5 negative.

Shen Hao 4x5, 250mm
Exposure
I wore a jacket, a cap, but no gloves
Film & Developer
Delta 100 in D76 1:1
Paper & Developer
negative scan...almost no adjustments.
Thank you all so much for your comments. I intend to print this tonight, and am looking forward to being able to actually see the ice that's on the branches. (There's a little bit of ice you can see in the LRHC hanging from a branch.)
 
good to see you're keeping up the high standards - nice pic John. How about a nice partial thio tone to catch and illuminate the fog ... ?
 
Good idea, Leon. I just started experimenting with Berg Sepia toner, but it was waaaaay too strong. Next attempt will be with a more dilute solution. I've got about a dozen 'graphs that would probably be improved by toning.
 
You flat out must have the greatest backyard going. Combined with your deck, you probably are able to find something almost any time you go out there. This is a great capture.
