This is the only structure that extends into the ocean for a very long span of beach. There are jetties miles from here, but this is the only pier. It gets photographed a lot, but so does Half Dome! ;-) Have I mentioned how much I love the 45 mm lens? lol! (The correct answer is, YES)

I'm with you on the sky, Jovo. There are a few places here in rolling western Pennsylvania where the land is high and most of it is farm land. I think of them as Sky Country... you capture that feeling well.

Thanks, Shawn. I'm a Pa. native, and do miss the countryside that's similar from the Hudson Valley to Harrisburg and beyond.
