This is the only structure that extends into the ocean for a very long span of beach. There are jetties miles from here, but this is the only pier. It gets photographed a lot, but so does Half Dome! ;-) Have I mentioned how much I love the 45 mm lens? lol! (The correct answer is, YES)
Jovo, it seems all your images are classic compositions and perfect symmetry within the frame. You have a definite style and your images are so relaxing to observe.
Looks very good. A P67 eh? It's a big heavy beast so next time I am in Jacksonville I simply look for the guy with the biggest biceps and I will have found you. LOL
Thank you Terry and pentaxuser. Terry, I adjust my scans to closely resemble the thiocarbamide and selenium toning my prints get. At the moment, I have no darkroom, so this is all I can do. I did not use a filter, and am struck by how the blues sky and tan sand ended up being the same value. Pentaxuser, ............yeah, right!! lol!!!!!!
Thank you, ak, Eric, nbagno, and Miles. As much as I love the rolling hills and old mountains of NY, seeing sky from horizon to zenith is wonderful too. Clouds make it seem even more expansive than it is.
