At last I am pleased to be able to upload an image acceptable to APUG - all previous 6 years of films having to be d** printed due to no darkroom.
Salt print
I would say calling it "decent" is a very modest description. The texture in the petals is amazing, and keeping it so light too? I think it's beautiful!
This is great and something I am going to do when the temperature allows me to get into my darkroom which is in my roof space. One good thing about this sort of printmaking is that you can work in subdued light and do not, technically, need severely restricted lighting. Is this a natural colour or the result of toning ? Which paper did you use ?
Roy, As above, this is the natural colour. The paper is Fabriano Artistico - I have used Bergger and although the colour is very similar it has a slightly reddish tint.
I'm gilding the lily to add my praise - but this is the loveliest salt print I've ever seen. Like chazzy I had no idea a salt print could look like this.
