@dasBlute Yes, I think that is likely, green stuff tending to go white rendered via IR, but at first glance the shapes of that landscape immediately drew me back to the portions of my summer tour in the Colorado/New Mexico border area.
Colin you are right as regards the film speed, but using the R72 filter (which is opaque) you have to factor in at least 6 stops or more. I set the camera on manual and left it at ISO 400 and took a reading with a separate light meter set at ISO 3. I have tried ISO 6 but have seen some photos taken by another photographer where she used ISO 3 & 2 and I liked the results.
I'm looking at the form of the foliage when I say arid. 'looks like sagebrush/desert foliage. That it would be lush green, turned white/woody is certainly in the realm of film effects.
Apart from foliage, the deeper tones in the hills, sky & clouds are sweet.
