Ditching school.

Ditching school.

I photographed these guys a short time after I arrived in the town of Santo Ignácio (or Santo Inácio, I can't remember if it's spelled in old portuguese or not).

I was photographing a family who's house was near the town's church (which is the background of this shot) and the school.

I can't remember if these two were ditching school or not, but some kids from their group definately were (they insisted on my tagging along with them). The kids were taking turns being photographed, and I had no choice at this point. I shot a few of them in front of the church, and then we proceeded to jump a few fences, cut across some fields, climb some rocks (and squeeze under some others), and ended up looking outside a cave, near the top of a hill, overlooking the whole town. One of the most beautiful scenery I've ever seen (and I've seen a few). If I were a landscape kind of guy I would have had a plate full....

As always, please let me know what you think of this.
