(Inspired by Baxter Schwab)
Fiver left us for warmer greener and better provisioned pastures in early March, one month before the birth of our daughter. My wife believes his beautiful spirit passed into her. I hope she's right.
He was a great and true friend: warm, loving and a wee bit smelly, with a lick and smile for all.
He is sorely missed by all of his friends, and all were his friends.
I firmly believe that there is a special place that God created for dogs - something to reward them for the steadfast loyalty and devotion they showed their family here on earth. I hope that it helps to think of Fiver romping there now.
Oh man, I remember when Fiver passed on to pooch heaven. It's a beautiful photograph, Victor, of a beautiful friend.
We had a similar anticlimax in our family when my great grandfather passed away. I remember it, although I was only four years old. My baby brother was growing bigger inside my mother's womb, and great grandpa thought it was OK for his life to come to pass when a new member of the family would come to be. Today, when I think of it, I remember his large gentle hands, and what a wonderful person my brother is, and I tear up. I'm sure it's the same for you with Angelica. Beautiful tribute, Victor.

Thanks All. He was a great friend and since Anjelica was born so soon after, I've never really had time to stop and feel his loss. Bill's tribute to Baxter and a couple of days of being away from the family gave me that opportunity.
On exposure - He is a light sucker. I put him at Zone 3 and always exposed my TX400 at 200 and pulled devt (when necessary). Seems to work pretty well.
