I get it, I've done similar and thought later "why?" whatever the reason, there it is, and I like it.

Sometimes you just have to let the subject (and architect) do the speaking. The curved side against the flat side and crisp edges is enough. I do find it interesting that the only ornamentation is the various partly drawn blinds on the inside.
