Home No More

The Cape Romano Dome house before it was taken into the sea. I shot this on 120 film but had some issues with the negative. It couldn't be saved to print with. Until... I started experimenting with digital negatives and silver gelatin paper.

Digital Post Processing Details
Removed/cloned areas of TriX film damage (due to my developing errors). Inkjet print negative, contact print on silver paper.

A good result as it turned out. The high contrast and pronounced grain really add to the surreal effect. (And the residents were OK; the mother ship came down and beamed them aboard just in time.)
Thank God they're safe!
