I like shots that make me ask: "What's going on here?". This does that: Is he looking down at whatever the white object is and if so why? Is his eyes closed and does his stance say "I am down on my luck and need help but don't know where to turn etc? The cafe or bar looks empty and he may be a "drifter" doing odd jobs barely making ends meet

Colour just would not cut it here either so b&w is a good choice
