(My screen is showing about 100 horizontal lines through the image). Great photograph! Epic scale! Now tell us, how many times were you hit by projectile vomit before they settled down and let you photograph? Please describe the smell.
Hey wait a minute...are you teasing us? Is this from a museum display? I thought the distant cliff and birds were brought down in value by flashing the print, but now they look painted to me. C'mon now...fess up
James, I'd be interested in learning why you made this photograph. I'm trying to think about the symbolism in photographing a museum display, but I'm not getting anywhere.
And where do the horisontal lines come from?
I do not know wat the lines are about, they are not as distinct in the print as on the scan. The Idea of the print was to start a series of real photographs that could lie. But I found that I do not like so much, to create a series of prints, so I should consentrate on doing only prints that stand on their own, and stop messing around with other aspects. So this is a lie as is my print "Foul Flight". they are about shock value, people who know little about photography see theses prints and take them for reality. It's stupid I guess but I'm a teaser, it's a catholic, irish, german thing.
sorry what is spelled what not wat. This is a Museum display, 4x5 camera, 210mm lens, tri-x in hc110, paper?, ZoneVI developer. Milwaukee Museum, I do not remember the exact name of the museum.
