James, thanks for elaborating on the reason of making the photograph. I hope you didn't take it as if you have to justify your work.
I kind of think your idea is good. So many people just take things at face value today. Nobody knows whether the photographs at the cover of magazines are fake or real anymore, people probably just assume they are the real thing. Where does the line go for what's real/fake anymore? If you can achieve some sort of awareness of how fake some things are these days, then I say your pictures are definitely worth the work. Thanks for sharing.

I hoped for safety James you cordined off a nice working area - lots of tape, lights (or sorry wait - that's a film crew!).

I like that 'I've screwed it up' aesthetic... and so many people bite on it.
