The Andalucia

The Andalucia

Recent image. An interpretation of the Andalucian region of Spain - olives ... olives ... olives ...
The whole scene changed rapidly over the 20mins I was there, then it was gone.
I realise the scan leaves a lot to be desired - unfortunately not possible to see the distant monastery. just try to imagine it.

A feast for the eyes to walk through! Let the bushes grow out of the right corner, a third into the lowest edge of the print, and keep the sky as a balance, as it's now printed. This is nitpicking in its sincerest form. Beautiful John, the light is vibrant! tim

Thanks for the generous comments. Reluctant as i am to crop, I do like your suggestions.
No trout Dave

Thanks again. Awe c'mon Eric .

Ok that does it, we're having lunch next week and you are bringing this one!

This is really nice. The composition works very well, I particularly like the lines created by the shadows. And the tones in the sky are perfect.

Excellent landscape with tremendous space and wonderful light. I'd darken the foreground bushes a little for they are quite demanding on the eye and detract from the design created by the trees and light immediately behind. I'd also lighten the heavy burn to the sky a little for it doesn't feel right in such a gentle rendition of a big landscape.
