Another older photograph I discovered recently while tossing out prints. I remember getting stuck in the mud down in the canyon right after making this photograph. A very petite women in a very large diesel truck came along, jumped out and tied a towline to our truck and pulled us out. She was gone in a flash and I realized how completely hopeless and incompetent we must have looked. www.scottkillian.com
It's been a while since I printed this, but it was probably amidol - that's all I've used for years (although I can't see any difference between Amidol & dektol with Ilford papers). I experimented a few years ago with different selenium dilutions and times. I usually get cool tones, but some were oddly warm - including this one. Not sure why. I experienced this with some Azo prints as well. Anyone have any ideas?
