This whole series takes me waaay out of my old Tri-X comfort zone. For the first time, I am shooting with a digital camera; shooting with an infrared sensor; shooting with a very wide (20mm) lens; shooting landscapes; and printing the images in kallitypes. All new for me. And yes, one requirement is loads of post-exposure work. Because the file created by the infrared sensor is all but useless without substantial work to translate it into a useable greyscale image. This has been a great exercise, because it has forced me to rethink a lot of my old biases and presumptions about my art. It's good to get out of the rut sometimes. :smile:
