Platinum-toned kallitype printed onto 10x11-inch Revere Platinum paper. I am binding collections of these kallitypes into handmade books -- this is a sample page.
Thank you! I confess my influences for this series run to 19th-century English and American landscapes, so I am happy you found it reminiscent of the Hudson River artists.
I assumu that a great amount of work post exposure went into this but it was worth it.
It is indeed wonderful and, I am sure, a hell of a lot more 5 feet away with good lighting
Lovely image with the Romantic Period of painting in mind.
I'm interested in your future book. I made one myself with salt prints; there are a few images of it on my Gallery page if you are interested.

Colin, thanks very much for the compliment, and mostly for pointing me in the direction of your book -- it looks lovely! We are on the same page (ha ha) except I am going to use a binding stitch that requires no folding. I love the idea of binding prints into books -- it creates its own work by ordering the images into a narrative of sorts. TBH I am not sure what to do with the books once I make them. For now, I am doing it for the pleasure of creating something.
