Black Rocks and Falling Water, Kildoo Falls

6x7cm silver gelatin contact print.

Happened upon a ray of light making it down through the canopy and illuminating this patch of black rocks at the base of the falls. I was especially drawn to this group of rocks as there were only a few small sections that were jet black like this.

Beautiful, wet rocks have a quite magic metallic sheen, lovely image, and a lot of work for a 6x7 contact...do you mat and frame them this size?

Thank you everyone. =)

Tony, I do. I mount and over mat them on 10x12 inch mat board, the board positioned vertically and the print centered in the top 10x10 section. There is a great thread about small contacts on APUG: http://www.apug.org/forums/forum55/117328-intimate-contact-print.html
