Barges on the Seine

I have a strong interest in WW2. Especially the ETO.
This looks like it could have been shot 80 years ago.

Could it have.?
When i saw your pic, i jut assumed this has been going on for decades.
But has it.?
Talking about transporting grain, by barge, on The Seine River.

Thank you! I'm glad the photo took you back and raised so many questions for you

Shot just last year, it could have certainly been shot decades, well, centuries ago as long as you don't pay attention to the stadium in the back, that is! Yes, transportation of grains on the river has been going on for centuries.

By the way, if you're interested in WW2, then you'd certainly enjoy a visit to Normandy and the D-day landing beaches. You can travel from town to town, visit memorials/museums/etc and still see ruins in the water. It's fascinating and the landscape is as dramatic as you can imagine. My favorite region by far!
