I'm a sucker for stone & old carved wood. I was shooting through the open door & was invited in. 'Found I can arrange to do a full shoot of this breathtaking bldg. 1st Pres Portland, 1854

HP5, HC-110, dil. 'H' 1min continuous, 2 inversion & 3 pats on the bottom every 30 sec to appease the bubble gods.

I think you're on to something DW. 'Seems like like our reaction to old craftsmanship exposes a hunger for the hand made, personal artistry. We jump through our navels to get a very specific look in a print. The honorable Jim Galli & other show beauty in both old cars, tools, etc, using old, old photo gear that couldn't be duplicated w/ modern. I can't claim to understand much about it, but whatever that hunger is - it seems rather wide-spread.
 
Well, Silver-You've hit on something here...brought a smile to my face. I take it you're beginning to like HC-110 and HP-5. :smile: You done good here, real good!
