  1. Yes
I've spoken to a few of the owners in this yard. Apparently this boat cost a lot of money but the owner neglected it and the vandals completed their work. Burntisland is a small community on the Fife coast, just a few miles from where I live. The harbour area dates back to the 12th century. It was a thriving harbour throughout the 19th and 20th centuries but the decline is dramatic. I have a few more images of the boat. I'll look them out.

I should have checked on the internet, rather than asking. For what it is worth, Burntisland is only 80 miles from where my great-great grandfather came from (Hawick - not pronounced as it looks!)

A view of the boats themselves would be nice. I like semi-abstract texture, line etc. photos, but sometimes a pic of the thing itself is nice also!

PS. Went to Edinburgh once (1983), saw the Tattoo, the Morris dancers, the Camera Obscura. Had a good time!

I've never been to the Tattoo, and I've been to Hawick once in my life I think. There's always something going on in the city, no matter what time of the year.
