Hey there,
I have three images on the Apug galley. The subject is on a Magnolia flower as it decays. I used three types of film, one being Kodak E100 trans, the second is Fuji's Provia 100 and the third is Kodak VHS 160 neg film.
I wanted to compare their color pallet, contrast and sharpenss. I kind of know the Fuji chrome will be out the Kodak chrome but what do you think of the color neg verses the chrome film? I like the softness of the one but is that enough to buy more of that film?
It's also lots cheaper to process and proof the C-41 film verses E6 processing.
Take a look and give me information.
Thanks!

I think the comparison is kind of apples and oranges because your images are so different and the flower is so different. My favorite of the images is the color neg shot but I think because I like the state of decay and the amount of color left in the flower. Also I like the white background. Nice photography. If it is cheaper to do the color neg and that fits your work flow ok, then I guess I would make that decision. Is the 120 Ektar 100 out yet? Perhaps give that a go.
