Did get the 8mm out to use with an OM-D. Fun lens. Also used my 1000mm on an OM-D shooting the blood moon awhile back. Actually worked very well. Just completed my collection of the the original 31 OM lenses with the addition of the 18mm f3.5. Mini milestone. Also added the 50mm f2 Macro to the stable. 9 lenses left to go.
Since resurrecting my OM-2s a couple of weeks ago (locked mirror, wouldn't advance) I've picked up an 85-250 f5 zoom off eBay and a 35-70mm f3.5 zoom from KEH. Both very nice condition. Also a T20 flash. Next up is a 24 or 28 wide angle. Already have a 135 f2.8 telephoto so this will complete my arsenal, for the time being.
It's been awhile since I've visited or posted. I'll see if anyone is listening. Finally "completed my OM camera collection with a OM-3TI. Now have one of every thing from the M-1 on. Also added a 350 f2.8 what a fun if huge lens.
Can't say anything about the 100/2 but I have the 90/2 macro that is WOW sharp and it focus out to infinity. Can't really say anything about the 50/1.4 vs the 55/1.2 although I have both have never shot with the 55. The 100/2 is next on my radar though. Like the 90 it can be a tad expensive.
Have just bought an early OM1 MD with 50/1.4 lens at the local auction house. Absolute jewel of a camera and I can see why I lusted after one 40 odd years ago. Just waiting for the replacement light seal kit to arrive so that I can run some FP4 through it.
And I thought those feet pictures and used sock ads were an American thing. Actually I've has success finding good deals on photo gear on Craigslist. Last year I got a mint Hasselblad 503cw with latest 80mm and an A12 back for $1200. And the Zuiko 50mm 2.0 macro for cheap. However I am running out of wall space for hanging all these feet pictures.
Craigslist seems to vary tremendously with the region.
In our area, there have been at least 350 photography related (mostly equipment) listings this weekend alone: https://vancouver.craigslist.ca/search/pho
I have a OM 1n, OM 2n, OM2 SP and OM 4Ti with the flashes T20, T32 and F280.
I bought now the TTL AUTO Connector Type 4 and the TTL Auto Cord T to use the T32 separated from the camera
7Artisans 7.5mm II is the first Chinese brand lens for my OM10, and I liked it as for now. Zuiko 400m is also great!
