This chap has repaired and fully serviced a number of my cameras and lenses very satisfactorily over the years, including my OM1 with battery conversion. It cost £75 in 2007. He specialises in vintage equipment but because of this tends to be very busy so you need to be patient. His name is Ed Trzoska and he trades as Euro Photographic, 150 Harrowgate Drive, Birstall, Leicester. LE4 3GP. Tel 01162674247. Luckily I live close by and can visit in person but I assume he can deal by post. If you are interested he featured in an article in Amateur Photographer on 9/5/09.

I have used camerarepairer on E-Bay a few times to replace battery types, service and repair my OM cameras and always found him to be good.
