orange light is on, shutter will only work when release button is turned to the orange dot.Tried changing lenses and backs plus new battery,but camera is acting like there is no battery,I was wondering if anyone has had problems like this and could it be a bad contact somewhere

How experienced are you with the camera? Make sure the right toggle switch is not on R.
