Hi all,
great to have our own group, thanks for seeting it up Pat.
I'd like to wish everyone a happy Christmas & New year, I'm heading off to Portarlington on Sat then to Adelaide on 23rd then up to Yourke Peninisular on 27th or 28th for a Photo Exhibition with a couple of friends, should be back home mid Jan, Cheers All

Yep, big thanks to Pat! I have to be honest, I've never actually had a look around on apug before, I've always seen the site come up in my google searches, and read the odd post, but never actually spent some time here... once this week's over and my head is a lot clearer, I'll be sitting down, pulling out my mini maglight and having a good investigate around all the dark corners of this place. Here's to discovering new locations!

Many thanks from myself as well Pat. Your investment in time is appreciated. I hope to be able to respond/participate a bit more than with the email version. Easier for me while at work to visit this forum than private email, and I only check private email weekly as two young kids keep me pretty occupied.

I've just done some fibre print from the negs I shot in Alice Springs. I like them. I showed the RC proofs to my partner yesterday and all she said was...why don't you shoot colour? The word cost comes to mind, but if I had the brass, then I would. 8x10 trannies on the light table, something to drool over.

Sure did Shane. It works better than when I bought it now. Steve, the guy from work who fixed it, and I put it back together on the 13th and I left for Alice on the 15th. Really cutting it fine.
