Which is better for storing film, the freezer or refrigerator?

If you go for long term storage (many years): freezer. make sure you pack your film airtight and that you do not freeze & unfreeze it frequently due to normal use of your freezer.
If you just want to shoot with fresh film and shot it within 1-2 years, the fridge will do nicely.
