The discontinuation of ENDURA is a sad thing. That paper it's so good.

When I saw it was still in stock on miamidigital, and it was good value for money! I bought it, but until I received it, I found serious problems.
Its base fog is too high, even worse than my ENDURA Exp.2020/07 stored at room temperature! And the base fog is gradient.

I believe there is no light leakage in my darkroom, and when I tried to test it with the paper in the center of the roll, this problem still exists.
Another unusual thing is the back print, it does not have the word ENDURA on the back print, which is different from my previous paper, but looks like the gold words of Premier Digital Paper.

I don't know what happened to this batch of paper. I want to tell anyone who wants to this batch of paper, Better not to buy it.

The back print looks like the print you see (saw) on the lower-grade papers like Kodak Royal etc. Is the paper base/weight the same as proper Endura? I suspect this bad paper you got is also on a thinner base. I have some doubts that the paper you have there really is Endura.

I don't know what happened to this batch of paper.

It's just old/expired.

I believe it is ENDURA, its emulsion color is brownish yellow, not the pink of Royal/Premier Digital paper.

It's not even as good as the stored in my house for 5 years ENDURA paper.

OK, possibly; I don't know. The backing print is very odd and makes me very suspicious that this is not genuine Endura. Apart from the fog, are the filter settings comparable to genuine Endura?

Yes, disappointing; storage & transport conditions in the supply chain may play a role, and there's still the chance that this is some kind of counterfeit product.
