Why not date of exposure because it's called a "shooting" assignment and not a "printing" assignment?

The rules used to prohibit posting earlier work - thus the name.
The rules have been changed to permit two classes of entries, but we haven't bothered to change the name to something like "Monthly Theme".
The original idea of the whole thing was to get people out to "shoot" and then share current work.

I know. That's why I said use "old" or "new" based on when it was "shot".

Hello, the theme of the December 2022 Monthly Shooting Assignment is Iron, in any form you like. Is it a steel structure, a mundane everyday item, or anything made of iron that you found interesting? It only has to be significant in the photograph that you'll post. So, here are two examples...
