Oldies but goodies: ... into a perspective of an unbroken view of a whole region ...

of .. Cholentpot's ~ at a junction of two (panorama's), ...
One to the right, .. and the other to the distance beyond ... giving a survey of where to go ,,, ?

of ... russljames: ~ the unbroken view of a panorama held in place by the tracks of whence it is going, by two young observers, who are the only ones aware of a camera. An the attention they are giving to the rare sight of being found by a lens, and not the flat reflective rectangle of dad's, .. or mom's iPhone. Who is this guy?

of .... macfred: ~ ah .. at last we found them, my friends and family, and who, .. and where should we lie down next to, so as continue to chew our cud, ....in this wonderful unbroken panorama of forever.

Yum ...

Another OLD one with the FUJI GA645W with EBC Fujinon 45mm f/4 on Portra 160 - cropped

This is particularly nice when accompanied by macfred's Photrio signature line:
"all photographs are self-portraits.” – Minor White"

Lovely shot ..
Curious though, .. is it Old or New?

Not necessary, but perhaps film type and exposure?

From the archives: 14th Avenue, Seattle Washington in 2014. I had rented a Hasselblad XPan for some aerial photography and had so much fun, I took a roll of film in and around Seattle. This is with the 45mm lens.
I scanned the negative in two parts of 24x36mm and merged them with the auto merge tool in Photoshop CS6.

Metro station Montreal with a Widelux, extra fun to shoot with moving subjects!

Thank you.
Winter 2020/2021. For some reason these don't look sharp when uploaded here.

f22, don't know what was the exposure. It was taken just before sunset.
I believe it's Foma 400 (might be HP5). Don't have negatives on hand.

This was 20-30 minutes later from the same spot on frozen lake. Don't remember the film that was used. There were several used during test run. Shot at f22

The uploader on Photrio is picky. I often have to adjust my resizing, and add extra sharpening, in order to get the results I want.
Generally, I get best results with images re-sized down to 1024 pixels on the long side, but with panoramas I would suggest something a bit larger.

I'll try few different options next time.

Ah, Sirus Glass in motion, welcome aboard Monthly Shooting Assignment.. good to see ya ..and we take it that your image is an OLD one ,,

Well done, with lots of oldies but goodies, but how about some more fresh and NEW .. to add to the decore of the Panorama's we have here to view. ..

BTW some history : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Panoramic_photography

"The device of the panorama existed in painting, particularly in murals as early as 20 A.D. in those found in Pompeii, as a means of generating an immersive 'panoptic' experience of a vista, long before the advent of photography. In the century prior to the advent of photography, and from 1787, with the work of Robert Barker, it reached a pinnacle of development in which whole buildings were constructed to house 360° panoramas, and even incorporated lighting effects and moving elements. Indeed, the careers of one of the inventors of photography, Daguerre, began in the production of popular panoramas and dioramas.

The idea and longing to create a detailed cityscape without a paintbrush, inspired Friedrich von Marten. von Marten created panoramic daguerreotype by using a special panoramic camera that he created himself. The camera could capture a broad view on a single daguerreotype plate. In complete and vivid detail, a cityscape is laid out before the viewer.

The development of panoramic cameras was a logical extension of the nineteenth-century fad for the panorama."
