I picked up a great KONICA IIIA when I was visiting Japan last May, and while this camera produces some nice, crisp images, I realized that this camera just isn't for me as I find myself reaching for other cameras. Perhaps it would suit one of you more.

The Konica IIIA is in great condition. The lens is almost immaculate with just a few dust specs and no visible scratches as a yellow filter appeared to have protected the lens for over six decades. The shutter appears to be working just fine, but I do notice it requires one to push down on the shutter knob at least halfway down for the shutter to fire, but I have found this with my friend's models as well. Shutter blades are clear of any oil or residue. Shutter speed and aperture rings turn just fine. Rangefinder image and viewfinder is large and clear. Everything appears to function quite well and hoping it finds a good home.

Price: $80 (International regular shipping included)
Paypal payment only. First come, first serve. I'm shipping from South Korea and items normally arrive quite quickly, usually with 7-8 days.

I have this camera; it is a wonderful camera and this price is excellent. Someone ought to snap it up; even if it needed shutter work it would still be a good buy.

Yeah, it's a pretty cool camera, but just not for me. I see these occasionally when shopping around in Japan, but normally the 48mm f2 version, which was only sold there. These 50mm 1.8 versions were exported.
@kingbuzzie - I go to Nagoya, Japan for a short trip in late January, and if I see one at a decent price, I'll shoot ya a message.

@PGraham3 Feel free to! I'm having a hard time getting excited about shooting 35mm and have steadily acquired 120 cameras and film. I hate to resort to GAS to motivate me to shoot 35, but I have so many good emulsions in my freezer.

The Konica IIIa is truly a solid camera! I suspect it could make a good defensive weapon.....
