"Natural Voice" . Ilford Hp5
17 July 2017 . Noya (La Coruna . Galicia . Spain)
It is curious that I am running an exihibition in my town with this topic (and several works have been sold so far) from May 15th to July 15th (but the owner asked me to extend due to the audience reaction), because I have lots of pareidolias in my archive.

I've found some of them on my holidays, and this one I'm presenting here is not the last one, but it is special, because "he" decided to talk to me for a while:

Congratulations for this MSA, I love to see that I'm not the only one with a "sick" look & mind! and all the best to everyone!

p.s. (OP) I would like to stay out of the contest

Elephant Rock Sedona Az. Only twice a year does the light cast on this rock formation, to get this 'correct' shadow. Taken about 8:30am
Found another location about half the distance, but after the monsoons, the light was no longer right.
Pacemaker 4x5 Arsita 400@ 200 w/Orange Filter. Double Polar lens, with just the front one on, f 11/16 @ 30th sec. D-76 1:1 8.45

Very cool, cant work out how you did that, but I like the shadow play. Good luck with you're exhibition.
BTW, I dont think its sick to have a bit of imagination and see things a little different.....well maybe just little.

Wow! what an excellent picture Peter, thanks for going to the trouble and posting it.

I did nothing special, just look at the ground and see the shadow of the leaves from a tree, moved by the wind like talking. Even with my cameras (three) pointing to the children's playground, everyone passed by without turning around ...

Thanks awty! (wink)

I thought you were making the shadows, I see now, very good.

I have a great one but it was shot 25 years ago and its buried 25 years deep now

You people are all nuts!!!
This is going on my psychology report.....

Oh Sorry, do I have to choose?

Who's craziest? Very hard decision, some of the entries took quite a lot of imagination to see anything, squinting helped. In the end I decided to chose Peter K, who went hiking deep in wilderness, carrying a ridiculously big camera, had to camp for a week in monsoon condition, battled with mosquitoes, then malaria, just to get the right moment when the sun shone on a little rocky mountain to reveal a shape that looks a bit like a elephant, kinda, sort of...... try squinting.

Seriously, I had great fun, hope others did to, thanks for all the entries, over to you Peter.

Will I PM Peter to let him know? What if he's still out there??? struck down with malaria, being tormented by wolves and mountain lions....should we send out a search party????
:surprised:

HAhaha ... Who's craziest... well we don't know, ... but love your imagination! Makes well for good compositions, in any format! But didn't go hiking, but had to get out of the car, after we parked it at the Hyatt Hotel location, and maybe walk maybe 50 yrds, to an area that overlooks the roundabout below, at the junction of Hwy 179 & 89A, in a city of a little more than 10,000 people. With a nice bench nearby, to sit on while we waited for the shadow to be correct in our estimation, as we enjoyed the rest of the scenery.
As we type this message we are watching the hummers, and birds do their morning feeding.. out our living room window, with the background of the Elephant Rock in the distance.

Soooooo, thank you very much, but been a winner this year already, so ya got to pick on someone else. Ya gotta go nuts again!
Will PM ya.. to be sure you find your not off the hook yet... :surprised:
