The floating element is for flat-field correction, but the lens can be used as both a macro and a regular distance lens. It is remarkably flexible. This lens, serial # 004667, includes both front and rear caps, a B&W 010 filter which has been on since newand a heavily padded Lowpro case. No mold, fungus, blemishes, etc. I will include an article on how the Floating Point system works.

Price $299 plus postage and insurance.

I used this lens in three retirement college courses, or about 90-100 rolls of film. I then moved up to 4x5 and then later 8x10 and 7x17. The point is there is a lot mileage left in this Mamiya professional level lens. It is in excellent condition because I treat my gear with great respect.

For those that don’t know me, I am John Powers: 565 posts LF Forum since April 2001; JP80874 on Apug 3,490 posts since July 2004; JP80874 on eBay 851 transactions, 100% positive feedback; Facebook 707 Friends.

I stand behind what I sell. If you don’t like this lens serial # 004667 within seven days of receipt, send the same one back in the same condition, pay the postage and insurance both ways and I will refund your purchase price.

Let me know if you have any questions about it.

Thank you for your interest.

John

Chris,

Thank you for your interest. I will ship to Europe. I packed the lens and bag and took it to the Post Office for an estimate. The Post Master says it should be sent at the “Fragile” rate. The cost to Paris, France, marked Fragile and insured for $300 is US$54.75.

For anyone else interested in estimating shipping cost, the weight of the packed lens and case is four pounds and two ounces. Please use the fragile rate and insure for $300. I will be shipping from Bath, OH 44210 USA

I did not mention methods of payment in the above classified. I can accept Paypal as a gift. If you want to use Paypal as a regular transaction please include the extra three %. I can also accept a USA bank cashier’s check or a money order.

Thank you again for your interest.

John
