Cameron Centre is about 15 minutes down the road from me. I used to go to the swap meet there, but stopped going about 10 years ago due to several tables set up with people flogging black market cell phone cases.

It has been quite busy the last few yrs with new interest in film cameras vs digital. We can not control what people sell but just the interest is great for film cameras and accessories. Sold 2 film cameras with lenses last yr for more than I was hoping for at the consignment table. One of the reasons why I got a table was to be there before the "flood gates" open.

Now some of those cell phone cases are on the "used" tables.

I've been impressed the last couple of years at how many younger people come out.

And somehow, all the older people haven't left (sometimes with exactly the same stuff).*

There is always lots of stuff that is over-priced, but usually I can find something interesting to at least look at. As an example, I had never actually seen any of the Rollie 3000 series system cameras and lenses before I saw one there.

The people with tables definitely tend to take advantage of first access to everything.

With the USA/CDN $ exchange rate we will probably see a big crowd of US buyers getting huge deals. New equipment anyway.

They usually have some interesting equipment that I purchase. Andrew: Anyone at the consignment table by the entry door will know where I am.
