Hi, apugers : )

I'm here to ask your opinion about the manual focus zoom lenses for the Nikon F mount. I usually prefer fixed focus lenses, but suddenly today i thought that would be nice to have sharp zoom lens for my Nikon FM. I'd like to have wide angle and something like portrait lens in one, I mean something like 24-70 would be so great, also today I checked Nikon Nikkor 35-70/3,3 - 4,5 AIS, but I'm not sure about the sharpness of this lens.

So, guys, show me the way I should go choosing the best variant of the zoom lenses for my Nikon FM.

P.S. Sorry if my english sounds poor, it's not my native language : )

I have several, but the one I like best (and use the most), is the Nikon Zoom-Nikkor 35-70 f/3.5

Hi. For a cheap but okay zoom lens, I would recommend Tokina or Sigma. When I first had my FM, besides a Nikkor Auto 50mm prime lens, I had two Tokina zoom lenses. They were fun to play with.
