I recently got myself a Zonemaster II which I'm very pleased with. However, when taking measurements from negs developed in Dixactol or Exactol Lux and then making a print based on these measurements, the print seems somewhat lighter than expected. It's not a massive amount and seems to affect Dixactol negs more than Exactol negs. Looking on the RH designs website tells me that I might get unpredictable results with this type of neg. Anyway, my question is can this be compensated for in any way at the measurement stage, i.e. can the Zonemaster be programmed to account for the stain in these negs? Regards, Blighty
