Greetings to all and happy holidays!
Attention large format users - I have this field camera for sale. Don't worry, you won't have to mess with it. You can take it out of the box and use it. I wouldn't sell anything that saddled another photographer with that.
I need to get rid of some excess equipment. I have a Linhof monorail and a Wista field camera and don't need this one. The Goertz lens is pristine - the shutter fires accurately; it's light; so the entire rig is very manageable in the field. The price is low because (1) it's only a bit lighter than the Linhof, (2) almost 3 pounds heavier than the Wista, and (3) I'm approaching 70 years old and all this equipment is taking over my house. I'd like this to go to a serious photographer - I know you guys are pretty dedicated workers.
This camera is in almost new condition. When I bought it, it came in the original box. I don't think it had been used. I've only used it about 6-8 times. Richard Ritter has just "Ritterized" it (the rear focus was a little stiff). The 1/4" tripod insert is included, as are Fred Picker's original instructions that came with the camera, plus an extra lens board with 40mm hole. Price includes shipping within the 48 states.
$575.
Good?
I have a Ries tripod too, and a lot of other stuff I'll be listing eventually. Thanks guys.
