Does anyone have any experience of the Zero 35mm pinhole camera? It looks very small and neat, but apparently takes an ordinary 35mm roll. Any thoughts?
I own serial number 001 of the Zero Image 35 mm pinhole camera. Ordered it the day it was announced, and just lucked out on the serial number. Tiny little bugger. I've shot some with it, but frankly I'm more pleased with using their 6x6 camera, or larger. The 35 mm model that's more time to learn how it sees. Because of its size, it is very easy to take anywhere.
It's very small and unobtrusive. I used to take it into shops, place it on a surface and wait around for a minute of two and then walk out, I'd get interesting shots with the blur of the shoppers and the static stock.
You need an old 35mm film with a stub about an inch sticking out of it. You then tape the film from a new roll onto this. Then, when you wind on, the film goes from canister to canister.
