The Bronica C is a 6×6 format focal plane shutter SLR introduced by Bronica in 1964. It is a more simplified system that does not use an interchangeable film back. Mid-roll changes are not possible, but film insert magazines can still be used to speed film loading.
There are two different Bronica C models. The first one was available for only a short time and is more uncommon. It was primary based on the Bronica S and was not compatible with 220 film and had a maximum shutter speed of 1/500 of a second. Multiple exposure can be set by the dial above the film counter. This model also introduced the removable helical focusing mount.
This is one of the early specimens, sold only on the Japanese domestic market at the time of release!
I have shot film with this camera, and it functions normally. When you wind it, there's a very noticeable thunk at the end of winding, which is kind of satisfying. You know it's wound when you get that thunk! Lens glass is clean and clear; no haze or fungus!
A note on the lens cap: it screws on, but as you can see from the last photo, the center pops out! Replace the ring to protect the lens treads while you're out shooting!
I've included three (3) test shots using Kodak T-Max 400 film on a very cold day! My hands were hurting after that roll!
Asking $350 + S/H.
