Hi everyone,

I would like to try the motor winder on the camera, but to see if it worked and how I tried to use it without connecting it to the camera.

1)is it normal that when I click on the test button not only does the red light turn on but it starts to spin endlessly, the motor no longer stops unless I press the shutter button (but only temporarily) or if I set the switch to OFF

2) is it possible to try the winder on the camera by putting it in multi exposure mode even without the film inserted? because the zenza bronica when it is without film, to try to simulate a shot you have to lift the lever and set it to multi exposure mode otherwise it is not even possible to reload and activate the shutter.

Yes, put the camera body into multi-exposure mode so that the shutter can be cocked even though there is no fresh frame of film.

The E winder simply is an automated substitute for [your hand turning the film advance until it stops] !

Load the camera with a roll of backing paper (without film) for testing the advance.

If you don't have a roll of backing paper, save the paper the next time you finish and develop a roll.

ok, so if it was connected to the camera it would stop after that camera is charged right ?

there the shutter position when is used with the motor e winder had to stay 45° in diagonal:

is that the 45° diagonal position of the shutter?

because in the past, when i have took some pictures without the winder, i have used the full left position:

what is it the "backing paper" ?

i have not personally developed the roll of film.

Yes, the winder should release the shutter if full left, or at 45 degrees...but not in Up position.

But to avoid damages to the camera, they say to set the shutter button at 45 degrees, that position:

EDIT: it has worked well

the only thing is that after any picture i have to pres the winder botton to rewind the camera, that is caused by the fact that i have not used a battery inside the camera body right ?
