Zenza Bronica ETRSi 70mm film back

Hello all,

I hope all are doing well.

Came across a question, whether 70mm Film back for Zenza Bronica ETRSi exists? I have a 70mm filmback for my Hasselblad 500cm (attached pic), but never found any thing about Zenza bronica ETRSi.

Does anyone know about this?

Yes. Did you google something like "Bronica ETRS 70mm" ? You should be able to find the manual and a KEH page listing (not currently in stock). They are not very common, but apparently do exist.

Consulting a Bronica price list from Nov. 1990...there is no 70mm back for the ETRSi; that accounts in part for the rarity of finding 70mm back, Tamron discontinued the Bronica line in 2004

I saw a 70mm back for an ETR something or other on ebay once - the seller wanted around $400 for it. Far as I know, all etr backs fit all etr cameras.

KEH has seen a 70mm back, even though I never have:

Bronica 70mm Roll Film Back for ETR System

70mm: Up to 90 exposures possible with 70mm long roll film. Angle finder must be used with Prism or AE Prism because back extends above body.

I only have original etr bodies, so I don't know what the differences are between etr, etrs, and etrsi. I assume all the backs fit all of them.

My guess is very few 70mm backs were made for that camera. It already took 30 pictures on 220.

Yes, all the ETR series backs fit the ETR series bodies (With the obvious exception of the ETRC that has a fixed back). The backs changed over time to have different top latches, and the later ones have a dark slide with an additional notch that stops removing the dark slide when the back is off the camera. I assume the 70mm back would fit any ETR body, but it's somewhat larger/longer and KEH says it interferes with looking through the prism. I've never actually seen the 70mm back.

To the best of my research, this is the only Bronica 70mm back - there is not one for the SQ, GS, or S/S2.
