Zeiss ZM lens repair

I'm in the US near San Francisco. My 35/2 Zeiss ZM lens focus is binding a bit and I want to get it looked over and repaired. Suggestions where? Straight to the Zeiss Thornwood, NY service center? Better or closer alternative? Any experience repair direct from Zeiss in Thornwood? I bought this lens used a few years ago so it's not under warranty.

Any good repair person should be able to relube your ZM lens, they are nicely built and easy to work on.
