My beloved Planar 2/45 T* (for the Contax G2) won't work anymore as one of the little electronic connectors (not sure that's the right term) is missing and another one isn't in good shape either. Twenty years ago I would have sent the lens to repair but now I'm not sure where to (I live in the UK) or even if a DIY option would be a perfectly reasonable way forward assuming generic parts are available. Any suggestions would be most welcome. Thanks.
