A little curiosity question...

A few weeks ago, I picked up a Super Ikonta 531/2 Folding camera. The camera really only has but one minor issue, in that the "trigger" that the shutter release pushes to the right to release the shutter acts limp instead of springing towards the left. I can push it to the left and it will seem to lock, but as I go to cock the shutter, it always flips to the right and the shutter wont catch as a result. Thus, I have to manually hold the trigger to the left when cocking the shutter so that it will catch, and that the trigger will trip when the shutter release on the body is pressed.

I guess my question is if this is an easy fix. It seems either a missing screw or loose or missing spring, but I don't know. I've attached a photo to show the part I am having the issue with.

**Edit - realize I likely should have put this in the camera D-I-Y and repair forum - - apologies.

my example of that camera has a slightly different shutter release configuration, with a second lever to prevent the shutter release being pushed over except when the shutter is cocked or set on B.

Having said that, the shutter release lever should spring to the left, so I suspect a spring or something inside the shutter has come undone/broken.

Bummer.
