I've shot tri x with this & when I could get the distance set it gave nice results
the camera is in nice shape with minor wear on the black paint edges
the serial number begins with M & ends with a star * this indicates it was assembled
post war from pre-war parts in west Germany in 1945
the camera as with all ikontas has great build quality - the opening mechanism & lock
are great - shutter sounds good at all speeds - the novar lens is clean & clear uncoated
the pop-up finder has glass elements - camera wind has double exposure prevention
you still have to wind each frame to the number through the red window

Nice camera at a super-great price. Pre-war parts? Those Novars of that time might vignette a bit wide open, but aside from that, worked superbly. You're getting a great camera cdowell.
